Once a year or so, I'll play it, use it as inpiration for the tabletop. I can't really say anything about it that hasn't been said When/if the second one ever comes out, even if it's just this again but with schmancy graphics, I'll still like it. That's just how timeless and good the writing is here I think. It's fun. But sometimes the running back and forth can get tedius in the downtown area.
Update your drivers, I haven't had a single crash in six hours so far of playing the game. And I don't know if I'm just lucky with this sort of thing but I haven't had any real big bugs either, can count them all on one hand too. The games has been nothing but stable so far. But yeah, there's still some jank with the fisty punching fighting, more specifically having a punch go threw when I'm a good seven feet away from the guy trying to hurt me. Also run up to some randy on the street and beat the hell outta them, I with they'd do more than just run away like get thrown to the ground or something. But honestly nothing that can't be fixed or added through a patch, alot like how the Witcher 3 was. Other than that, as someone who played some Cyberpunk 2020 and a heck of a lot of Shadowrun CDPR did a really good job capturing those games' likeness, which was their goal the whole time by the way. Yet, I think one of the most underappreciated aspects of games like these are just how much attention to detail there is to the world and just how cool everything is. I chose the Corpo origin and there's this scene where you can sit down and have a glass of wine in a flying car like some typical bigwig, feels like its straight out of Bladerunner. Another thing was because I invested some points into body, I was able to pretty much skip a boss fight because I just beat him up during negotiations instead of pulling out a gun and having a stand off. Choices are cool too, there's this side mission where you gotta scare this straight lace investigating officer off so they don't blow anything good for some corrupt cops, and after some asking around I found her apartment, but I didn't have the skills to just hack open her door so after some looking around I found another way around to just hop onto her balcony and break in that way. I killed her and it was fun. Again, those all ring really similar to the tabletop, and that's prettyyyyy cooooool. Also I just play with controller.
