GWENT: The Witcher Card Game

It's a great game but

it's also so complex that getting into it is kinda hard. Because of that and because of the competetive nature, it's very easy to just built some meta deck without putting much thought into what else is possible. It starts out fun, when you start with "bad" cards and slowly improve your deck through the grind, but at one point you will just get matched against much more capable decks and the game is over before it even started. Then it's no longer about strategy until you adopt your deck to the meta and play what allows you to compete instead of playing what you want. I honestly would rather play against some advanced AI that uses decks that are equal to mine then get matched against the same meta decks over and over. I also dislike the balance of decks, where the deck basically plays itself, since it's just about one specific strategy. At that point, it's no longer about playing a game but just a coin flip, whether your oppenent can handle your strategy or not.
