I just write this clarify others reviews, the game it's incomplete for the traditional rights problems, the rights holded of Aliens Ate My Babysitter is not id Software the one who is selling the bundle, and they named the pack so is maybe their fault in the end, maybe GOG will be able to get the rights but only time will tell, still, great to have this on GOG!!!
I see some reviews that downvoted the game because it doesn't started, the solutions is restart your computer and problem solved, if that doesn't work reinstall the game and ot will work perfectly, if you have some problems just check the forum of the game here on GOG and you will find everything you need. Hedon is a fantastic game that combime 2 of my favorite games of all times, Doom (the first game I ever played) and Arx Fatalis (because it has a similar setting), it's incredible what GZDoom Engine is capable of, big environments, a bunch of cool new effects, good platforms sections (for a FPS) and an interesting story that you want to know more about it! Zan is a great protagonist, weapons are fun to use, and sounds good and the graphics are really nice. I here some people complaing because is a paid Doom mod but nothing more far from the truth, this is a completely different game build in a modify Doom Engine with completly new and original assets!!! I super recommend this game, at the moment of writing this review is 25% and is super cheap, give it a try, you won't regret it!!!
Loved every second of Ion Fury!!! Feels like a truth homage to those 90s classics that make me so happy in their time, it's a work of love for the ganre, I you grown up in the 90s this is a must buy, if you are form a new generation this is the shooter that will take you to the past and let you experience the golden age of boomer shooters!!! PS: VoidPoint, hurry up with that expansion, the 90s kids are old already hahaha
I mean Kan Gao... Another good story of Freebird Games, I don't think is superior to "To the Moon" but it's all what I expected, a beautiful narrative that will make you laugh and cry and will leave you thinking about it!!! Super recommended!!!! Waiting for the third installment!!!
I had this game on my wishlist for quite some time now, I was planning to buy it in this sale but I had to buy a new hard drive, imagine my surprise when I enter the page to check the offers and news and saw not only this game but the Deluxe Edition for free!!! I want to thanks to the developers and GOG for this!!! Happy Holidays!!!!
Never thought that an point n click could have this level of action, the game has great animations and great looking characters, the story looks sounds cool and I'm intriguing to know more about it, really looking foward to the full release!!!
To properly enjoy this game, you only need the base game, is a really good and exciting shooter, with cool characters, great story (even more for a shooter), and great gunplay, you are going to experience every shoot in this game!!! But the gameplay is not as good as it's predecessors, that is why I don't give it 5 stars!!! So I will make it short, PURCHASE THIS VERSION, THE BASE GAME, AND FORGET ABOUT THE DLCs... Buy you a drink instead with that money!!!
Well, 'm going to write two reviews, one for this version (the one I purchased) and other for the base game. After an incredible reboot with The New Order and The Old Blood, Machine Games make a comeback with The New Colossus, is an incredible good shooter, the gunplay is great, the weapons sounds feel powerful, the story is really interesting and the characters well develop (with a few exception). The problem is in the gameplay, they try to copy the Doom 2016 gameplay, but they omit the health system of that game, what make you run like a b*tch every time you are low on health and need some bandages. So that make it inferior to it's predecessors. One negative point of this version (and that's why the deluxe edition diserves 3 and not a4 stars) are the DLC, fells like a cashgrab, are boring and short, so if you want to skip them, you won't lose anything!!!
