DREDGE

Only a few hours in but I'm having fun.

A fun little fishing game, that I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Stellar Tactics

Fun, Full of Potential, Odd glitches

I've only really explored combat in this game and I'd like to focus strictly on it as it is apparently the most important thing to me. Pros: Weapon selection and slight customizations. Proficiencies that level as you use them. Skills that are useful. Almost all weapons are relevant with various level between them. Cons: Combat is slow and the speed cannot be adjusted. (This is mostly relevant when fighting trash mobs, IMO) Everytime I start it up I need to re-adjust the resolution as the default resets. Combat is simple; There's no real cover to hide behind, there are decorations strewn about but they're not interactable in combat. Space combat is just turning in circles to offer different shield angles while keeping your fire concentrated on theirs; putting forward facing guns and lowering the turret amount would help. Overall I'm thoroughly enjoying this game but fear that the novelty will wear off quickly as I don't feel like I'm challenged enough to innovate my combat approach. To be fair most games are like this, I'd love to find a game where increasing difficulty would give the enemy access to more advanced tactics and cohesiveness instead of just increasing enemy health and damage.
