The demo video shows the graphically fun C-64 version. What you get with this download is terrible, a serioiusly F'UGLY-looking port with TERRIBLE controls and zero response. Get a C-64 emulator and download a ROM file for free somewhere. You'll save a (literal) buck and have a much better and more playable copy.
tl;dr - you'll never get to judge the game because the game won't start I'd really like to write something about the actual game experience, but the game will not launch properly with Win11. I've tried all fixes on GOG and its fora, I've tried every combination of graphics settings, and nothing. Once in a while, I can get to the game screen, but the UI is completely blacked out (it reappears in a nanosecond flash if I hit the space bar but is nonreactive). The DOS screen does not minimize to allow Task Manager up, so the only way to get out of the game is via a hard re-start of my machine. Where does someone go to get their money back? It was only a few dollars but in this economy, a few dollars is significant. This appears to be a huge issue with this game, with many complaints similar to mine lodged. The fact that GOG still offers it is criminal. Each user might only be out a few bucks, but many users' bucks add up.
