I remember playing 7+ hour games of this overnight with one of my friends years ago. It was a fantastic game then and even now it's not to be sniffed at lightly. The scale of this game was unmatched back in it's day and even today only Supreme Commander (which is basically Total Annihilation 2) can match it. Huge maps, huge ground/air/naval battles, games lasting hours, this is what an RTS should be. I like and own Starcraft II but games of that just feel too rushed but Total Annihilation, what can I say. I've been a big fan since I first played it (back when the computers of the day struggled on the larger maps with this game) and even now I still enjoy playing it (and it's even cropped up at a few recent LAN's). Probably one of the best value for money games on GOG in terms of replayability so you really have no excuse not to own this :)
