If you liked Hotline Miami 1, you'll either dislike or LOVE Hotline Miami 2. If you try to play HM2 like the first game, there will be certain levels that will frustrate you to no end. However, if you don't mind the larger maps and change in map design, you might love this game. For the soundtrack alone, I think the game is worth playing.
As I said, not only is this a great way to play, it also has tons of modern features that only enhance the original. Not to worry, if you are a purist, all of the new stuff can be turned off. My only complaint would have to be the near removal of bunny hopping. There is seemingly a speed cap put in place to keep you from moving too quickly.
You can't go wrong with this release of the Doom. It's the first two games and all the official addons ever released (plus community wads for console players). Other source ports will always have more options, but when it comes to official re-releases this is probably the best yet.
