It's better after the 1.2 patch,many of the problems are fixed. But it needs more work. It's not really an RPG and the plot follows the same beats and ends more or less the same, no matter which lifepath you chose. The story is ...rather good actually ,side quests are fun and some bleed into the main story. Characters are really likeable and you're going to really miss some of them when/if they are gone. Gunplay is fun, loot system is okay, character customisation is okay too. Map is huge with your usual quest markers and sidetracking tasks,but those rarely feel ...boring? But not as crowded as it's supposed to be and npc interaction is practically non-existent. Graphics are amazing , if you can afford the beast to play on. Sound is great too,and the music is AMAZING. I've never been a fan of the Witcher and i can't tell if the game is a letdown or not. But i am having fun and never felt i've wasted my time. There are plenty of things that can be improved and many (like the rpg side of things) that cannot. All in all good,if somewhat flawed experience.
