That revelation hit me like a brick. I knew this game was long and had some unique descriptions, but I never did expressly check how long the script was (or knew that games had "scripts" back then like movies). I'm pretty sure other reviewers will post walls of text on just how brilliant this game is, so I won't do all that - just a little bit of advice to the newer players:- 1. Get a walkthrough for the earlier stages of the game (i.e. the Mortuary) and keep it handy for some of the later sections. (Mostly from here: http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/Torment/index.php ) 2. Get the Tome of Cheats hack if the game is insidiously difficult. Try lowering the difficulty in the game options screen. 3. Make sure you play it in long sittings - this point is moot since it IS an RPG and is meant to be played like that, but it's general advice. Thank you, GOG for putting this up. <3
