No surprise here, the game mechanics ressemble those of Hotline Miami: a fast-paced, top-down shooter with a one-hit death system. Being able to switch between two characters on the fly and having special abilities add a bit of flavor but nothing over the top either, unfortunately so perhaps? The level design is okay, allowing multiple ways to each ennemies but it lacks a little something to make it more exciting and that's pretty much the feeling I had during the whole game. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad game, and even Hotline Miami wasn't a flawless experience either, but the whole gameplay and atmosphere of the game really lack something that makes it stand out. In my opinion, what really saves the game from being really vanilla and going from "not recommended" to "a nice option" is its coop mode. If you have a friend to share this experience with, it would be a fun one.
