Ever since I first played the game, I've kept coming back to it. Excellent humor, fun management and the style of the game make it one of my all-time favorites.
This is still the best Civilization game for me. And the addition of the expansion pack just makes it a must-buy for any strategy fan. The combination of depth, strategy and atmosphere keeps drawing me back to the game even today, and I can never get enough of the intrigue and setting of the game.
There are not enough well-executed space station sims out there, and this classic is one of the best ones.
Despite being a convincing fleet control game, the game just throws so frustrating missions at you every now and then that I cannot recommend it to just anyone. Some missions require VERY specific setups and tactics and learning them is just an awful process of failures and frustration, taking away a lot of the fun in the game.
