For real, world is really well build. Your decisions, even in sidequests, could have suprising consequences, like in Witcher 3. Most of choices you are making, is picking beetwen one evil and other. Even when you think you made right decision, after some time, it could turn out completly. When you must make a choice, you start thinking, what will happen in 15 minutes because of this, what if one of my companions will leave me because he dissagree with my approach? Its really great, and suit this brutal world at war time. And, yes. Gwent. Gwent is in there. A lot of gwent in fact. So if you dont like card games, and will try to skip it, you will miss a lot of content, good content. Battles are diffrent from each other, contained a lot of diffrent ideas. My only problem is difficulty. Outside puzzles which are challenging, rest of battles, even at hard mode, are easy for someone familiar with gwent.
