I expected a Lovecraftian game draped in skin of a fishing simulator, but I got a repetetive fishing simulator with Lovecraftian horror written on with with ketchup. To put it simply, the game doesn't dive deep enough in the eldrich nor does it give sufficient incentive to engage with the elements there are. All catching mutants give you is some extra money, which you can get enough just with crab traps and trawl net. Definetly not something you'd need to risk fishing at night for and even those for quest can be caught occationaly at day.

Not a great in the gameplay department, the puzzles are feels simple, usually something along "walk from left to right, interact with everything you can and when you find a lock, look for a key and vice versa". But that laso means you don't spend 5min scanning screen with mouse to see what you can intereact with and I never needed to look up a guide. The story gives it solid three stars.

Combat is entertaining, even through it gets repetitive at the end. Quests, even through they are sometimes bit generic, feels like their own little stories. Dialoge is mostly clever, althrough there are points which feels empty. So, through all it's little annoyances, I must say I had wonderfull time playing.
