If you liked Tropico you should be very careful und should gather information before you buy this one. It's got a completely detestable military system which you need to establish in order to fight against World War factions. Don't get me wrong: This is not the occasional skirmish against rebels which we know from former versions, this is a full blown invasion with tanks. It's certainly not something I would expect when I buy Tropico. Buying this game was an epic fail for me ....
Perhaps this is a great game. I don't know, and I will never know. I think I've never seen a game with such a steep learning curve. Compared to this Eve Online is a hen party. I was mislead by all those euphoric early reviews. I don't know which sort of person you need to be to like this game - and again: I will never know.
Buying this game is actually all about the three classic titles included. I'm not very much into "funny" games, especially not RPGs, but the old honeys which come as an extra in this pack are worth their bucks all the time. Of course, as in several other RPGs of this time, you'll have to copy your saves every time - because a death is a death ...
