Unlike other reviewers I did not stumble upon bugs in recent time, the dlcs are also worth it. The game itself feels very real, you have to manage patients, finances and even complicated diagnoses. Somehow I like it way more than Hospital Tycoon - I like it more serious. If you want a less bloody or funny approach on hospitals this game is propably not for you.
and got a complete suprise - in a good way! It is by far not as complex as the X-Series, but nontheless it is a fun mix of exploration, trading and fighting. The possibility of building a fleet and exploring planets, harvesting plants and minerals as well as building up a base and upgrading technology really makes a difference. You can actually feel your progress, though it can get a bit grindy in the beginning. TldR: PRO - Nearly endless exploration - Trading is fun - Feeling of Progress - Upgrades! CONS - Mainstory Questline can get a bit confusing (Where is this place Im looking for?!) - Bit grindy at the beginning - You have to give the sandbox a meaning by yourself (really a con-for some maybe?!) NOT TESTED YET - Multiplayer (you can explore the universe with your friends)
One of my first PC Games - so I guess that there is a lot of nostalgia. This game always had a great atmosphere despite its age, listening to the hydrophone, discovering another destroyer ... I usually play SH III (try the LSH 2015 Mod its so great!), but SH II is great for a shorter and more direct game session due to its mission-style campaign. My only criticsm is that the German translation is sadly not included.
