So I played this game when it was new on my C64 and I do not remember it being so unforgiving back then. Now I cant get past the Slums because I cant hit the broad side of barn unless I multiclass. But you can not finish game with a group of multiclass characters. Ive played every SSI Gold Box game ever made and Hillsfar and POR were always my least favorite. Time to move past this game. To much early frustration to be enjoyable Curse of the ASzure Bonds and all the rest are excellent. If you get past the opening few zones this game can be allot of fun but its so hit or miss getting past those opening areas. Plus as a old Original NWN on AOL Player Even the roller in that game was never as unforgiving as the roller in this game.
Very dated but still fun. LO getting use to old 2nd edition AD&D is aways interesting
I started playing this after burning out on 1772 hours of Civ 5 (I hate Civ 6 but completed all the civ titles between Civ 1 and 5) This game is kinda simplistic so lacks the intensity you find from Civilization games. Not terrible but not amazing. Just middle of the road honestly
Absolute excellent writing, compelling setting, almost perfect RPG. My only real complaint is lack of third person perpective option, which I must admit is a game breaker for me moving forward and will move future Cyberpunk games from must buy to 50% or more off bin (unless TPP is added as a option to future products)
So bought this game on Steam Brand New for full cost WHAT A MISTAKE Ended up playing oh 10 hours before I just put it aside Recently reinstalled and nope, cant do it The writing if @#%@#% terrible So childish and sophmoric in nature One of the early encounters are you trying to sneak up on companion to attack and kill he hears up and turns around and says "I hear you way inside ruins" (of course)" "You owe me an appology" SERIOUSLY???? I was trying to sneak up and attack you and you only want an appology? What next? Meet at the bike rack at recess???? I can forgive clunky game mechamics but not bad writing.
So I bought Mars War Logs on Steam on a whime. And the game was rough to be sure. But there was something that was really appealing to me and left me wanting more. Enter Technomancer. Still not perfect A number of things I think they should have expanded on. But still fun enough that I replayed it 3 complete times after finishing it. One thing is I think the games (both) would benefit greatly taking a CDProjektRED approach on content. Make the content fit the situation. Stop with the censorship. Otherwise I very much enjoyed the game and I love the Mars setting and technomancer world/enviroment Spiders created in MWL and Technomancer. Ive yet to play Greedfall but I hoping it can at least live up to Technomancer quality.
