It's an OK game. It doesn't do anything wrong in any major way, the mechanics are allright and I quite like the art style. Everything, from diplomacy over espionage to research, seems a bit shallow, but works. I also like the tactical combat. Again, it looks nice but, as with most aspects of the game, isn't very deep. The biggest problem this game has is the existence of Stellaris, which, in my opinion, is superior in almost every way. So go buy that, if you want to play a great 4X-game.
