Great game, runs on newer pcs. It sets the stage for later games and it's essential (at least in my opinion) to fully comprehend what's happening (also books are useful). The game starts where the last book ends, with supposedly dead Geralt but SPOILER! he's not dead (WOW big surprise). For me Witcher 1 is the best installment in the series (and it's not my first!). I'll explain why - story and voice acting is just great (as always in Witcher games), combat is just fun! I don't know why but it's so satisfying landing that perfect shot! Yes, sometimes game can be buggy and the graphics are not as good as nowadays but it's an old game! You can't expect it to be up to todays standards and it's still less buggy then Cyberpunk 2077. I really cannot express this enough, play this game, at least give it a try! This game is very different from the following titles, it's mutch darker and it really fits this universe. 10/10 in my opinion.
This game is just beautiful. It takes you back to the old days, althou it's not so limited. The game encourages player to backtrack and use his new abilities. Some of those abilities and equipment are unmissable but sometimes you have to search the world in order to find some fun things. Every ability and item is usefull in it's own way so you have to switch between them often. It really doesn't get boring! It keeps you interested with it's compelling and interesting story. Also as a cherry on top the game has perfect voice actin which will make you love Kain and other characters! 10/10, perfect for gamers looking for the nostalgia kick but also for those who search new experiences. Thanx Mandalorian for showing me this gem of a game. (Also works on my pc, windows 10 and good graphic card without need for any fixes).
