The gameplay? Third Person Shooter by way of Rule of Cool, with a touch of Devil May Cry 4 and CURED CHEESE. The plot? Cheese. The dialog? Cheese. The cutscenes? Cheese. The voice acting? Believe it or not, cheese! For 5 to 10 dollars this game is great.

Seriously, HOW do you make EVEN the menus of a remake sluggish? The original game plays just fine and somehow this game just comes out of the gate with controls that feel as if you're trying to send orders to Rogue IN REAL TIME from here to Nu-Earth. It LOOKS good, and that's where it stays.

As the title says. HOWEVER: THE GOOD: -Art assets and direction is coherent and solid -Music is fitting and superbly done -Game is responsive and allows for many styles of gameplay THE BAD: -Controls can be iffy/annoying at times, specially on keyboard -Walljumping makes getting off a ledge grab a toss up between falling down where you want to go and jumping off in to the other direction -The procedural generation makes following a guide/walkthrough nigh useless THE ODD: -THEM SILKY SMOOTH SPRITE ANIMATIONS -The ending is VERY meh

Highly moddable, works on any computer, even a penthium 4, simple concept for gameplay, challenging, full of servers, a living community and highly competitive. This game is a true successor to Quake 3 Arena. Aesthetics are great, with a comic book feel, based upon a world created by a french E-Novel, fast paced and explosive. The only problem is the learning curve. That's it. Who doesn't like a challange?
