I appreciate the building in particular with one caveat. The good - having everything present in full 3D makes for some awesome medieval fortifications, between crenellations, machicolations, and (in a sense) the aptly named arrowslit. Very cool stuff, and makes me anxious to move to the end game. The big caveat for me personally is that structure tiles are still operating as if everything weren't still 2D. A single tile comprises 1 full story height. This works well enough for purely 2D colony sims from which this is obviously derived, and I don't fault Going Medieval for extrapolating that underlying design out into 3D space. I love it! I just wish half-height tiles existed, allowing colonists/etc to navigate up/down terrain without explicit slope blocks. That's not going to happen. Maybe in a Going Medieval 2.
