I tried everything. Enabled both WMP and IE. Installed DirectX 2010 and .NET 3.5. The game doesn't start beyond the launcher.
I remember playing this game when I was 10, still love it today. What I like about it is it's simplicity compared to newer LEGO games. This helps when you play with a younger sibling etc. Kind of an unpopular opinion but what I love about it and other older LEGO games is that not the entire enviroment is made from LEGO which helps distinguish breakable things. Works well on all windows versions I tried, never had any issues (talking about this version and the old CD version)
The fighting system is meh, but graphics and story is A+
