im just a bit passed the openning part of the game. If you like crpg's with deep systems and lore for days you wont be disapointed here. It's basically d&d 3.5. So far so good for me.

I got this game when GOG was giving it away for free. I didn't think much of it at first but as the hours spent in world rolled by I found myself totally immersed in this unique future world this team has put together. The forming of relationships, cause and effect mattering and just such a diverse and weird place to explore easily makes it worth your time. If you're looking for a "no to low combat" game to sink 20 or so hours into ( not as polished but in the same breath of Disco Elysium) you will not be disapointed with this one.

This was one of my favorite games during the pandemic. There was very little hand holding which was a nice relief. An actual challenge in RPGs is a rare thing. The Dialog is witty and everyone has something to say. It's political without being slanted pro russia or anti usa. Overall, just a fun, dark rpg with great moments of humor to lighten up such a dark subject matter. I can't see any rpg fan not enjoying this game.. and the sequal Trudograd. MUST PLAY.

The first game, Shadowrun Returns, is bare bones, with a okay story. Mechanics are not well defined and it is extremely short. However, I did enjoy dipping my toe into the world of Shadowrun and it laid a nice foundation for the story telling and gameplay that is to come. Shadowrun Dragonsfall is a great game. First the negatives. There is very little voice acting, and a ton of reading. I don't mind when I have to read when the content is well written, which this is. The mechanics are still not up to modern day iso rpgs, but make a huge leap forward from the first game in the trilogy. The story is fun and fast paced. I Loved this one. Shadowrun Hong Kong is in my top 5 rpgs of all time. Again, I would of liked there to be more voice acting but besides that, it is tough to come up with a glaring fault this game had. The story is layered and constantly moving. The characters are well defined and I enjoyed getting to know them. The mechanics are on point, making for very startegic, and tough, battles. It's well writen and doesn't put gloves on for the kids. This is an adult game full of trolls, orcs, elves and dwarfs. If Cyberpunk disapointed you, play this and get lost in a real cyberpunk world.
