Played the Game right from the start when It released, its a buggy mess, UE5 trash, a LOT of problems and Main Quests couldn´t be finished and I had to wait weeks until I can get further into the game and Main Quest line. No A-Life which is pretty much "Stalker" and all its Angels, is not there. There are enough Videos on YT which shows how those systems work and its nothing like Stalker Gamma for example. If Stalker Gamma with passion and a lot of heart blood is a Ferrari, Stalker 2 is an old 20 years old Horse which is waiting for its final race track under the earth. To support ukraine and the devs I even bought the Ultimate Edition but I saw myself Refunding the Ultimate Edition because I couldn´t support a "Game" like that. Pretty Graphics are not everything and I was shocked when I played the Game here in Germany 2024 in Cologne at the Gamescom and It showed with the release. Its pretty much a Cyperpunk Situation here, will this game be good in 5 years? I bet! Right now even on sale for 42 bucks? not really. I would honestly pay 20 bucks for this Game and not bet an eye but over 100 bucks for the ultimate edition? As I said I refunded It and got the standard edition because I still hold to this nostalgic feeling I had in the Zone. And now with Patch 1.6 I can´t even Download the Game with the GOG Launcher, It fails at 92% and abort. So this is my final critic here on GOG as I move to Steam for good. TLDR: Better play Metro Exodus and come back in two or three years for a huge sale and stable game.
its just as simple as that, this game changed my life. Seeing other people witnessing the same stuff as me let me make feel complete after all. I have a better relationship to Mae, Angus, Gregg & Bea than I have to most other people and I know its parasocial, but as long as I´m happy, everythings fine - no worrys to fit into sociatal norms anymore in this time and place.
uninstalled for now, played for over 25 hours. I´m not even mad, its stalker and I bought It because I want to support the devs and the ukraine. Played through the story. When I come back in maybe 6-12 Months, I just want to roam, build faction trust, kill mutants and just want to immerse myself like in the first one with unlimited mods. I did not watched any reviews or metacritics or on steam but on my whole playthrough I though, damn this feels like Fallout 4 again, than I watched some Fallout 4 clips and I thought to myself damn those are some outdated graphics but somehow I always had the Fallout 4 vibes and at TIMES, I thought I liked Metro Exodus more than this. PS: I got more frustrated with some quest and missing markers, hints etc. than with Dark Souls Games. If you want to have fun, just don´t play the story - for now! I got the same feeling I got with Cyberpunk at a certain time I just thought to myself: Please let this end, I want to see the end and uninstall this. There are so many bugs, I had to restart my game every 20 minutes because the endless stutter anomalie began to shine. See ya in like 6-12 Months.
Werde die Review updaten, aktuell habe ich nur den technischen Bug dass ich je nach Spielzeit von 30-60 Minuten das Spiel 1x neustarten muss weil es anfängt zu ruckeln. Ansonsten, Atmo TOP, KI wirklich mega gut! Macht Spaß gegen die Feinde zu kämpfen.
As someone who already played Warhammer the boardgame as a child I was hooked again when I heard, that Space Marine 2 will come out this year. So I thought lets give this over a decade old game a shot and what can I say, Its awesome! (Personally I even think this is better than Boltgun, Gameplaywise) Yes its quite linear but thats not bad, you always know where to go don´t have to solve stupid puzzles, and are in the action for quite some time like 95% of the game is stomping heads in. After a while you don´t even witness the older graphics anymore because you look and move and shoot so badass that anything other gets irrelevant. Makes you really feel like you´re a Ultramarine.
