Shores Unknown: Arrival

Demo is rubbish

Is this an illustration of the full game, i hope not cos I wont be buying it. Clunky interface just to get around, battle is the worst, AP's mean nothing, dual weapons mean nothing, weapon stats mean nothing. 5AP's or 1 AP all you get is one attack, had dual weapons but never dual attack, second battle in the cave for me was impossible, 6 times tried it got bored and gave up, the tutorial was so basic it was pointless. Graphics were ok but with no ability to zoom in or out means stuff gets missed behind trees and objects. Narrative frustratingly bland, story seems to be averaged out script form every other RPG alive. So much so that there is nothing to pull me back after my first go at this game. Sad really.

King of Seas

Starts strong then lazy plot creeps in.

Its early access in reality. Feels unfinished, large parts need graphics upgrade esp the character scenes. Very cheaply drawn considering what this world has in terms of technology. For me, the homing fireball is just a lazy way of solving a problem, how to balance the battles and give the player something to get their teeth into, trouble is, its a game changer, this weapon in the hands of the enemy with precise aiming destroys half your ship, half your crew and half your guns.....seriously, what are they doing ! its just die and try again, et al until you either get lucky or you just end up fighting the boss, his escorts and a couple of ghost ships that appear now and again or even a Navy galleon as well just to make sure you understand that this game is rigged. Oh, and all you've got is a sloop. lol.
