Aliens versus Predator Classic 2000

good not great..

I've played the first three of the series this was the second. avp2 actually the third is better tech and gameplay wise. this one had a very why wasnt this on console or arcade feel. I do agree this game will likely scare you, first time predator encounter as a marine i just froze. Playing as a predator was pretty good, alien was mediocre. I would recommend trying this if you like simple reflex based fps games.

Crusader: No Regret™

More awesome action but...

Story and level design are a bit weaker. The graphics and weapons are improved still fun. The video portion of game is lesser also less colorful characters. Still makes a good sequel which in video games is usually about tech more than quality as demonstrated. If you haven't played you should get both for full effect.

Crusader: No Remorse™

One of a kind action masterpiece

Well there were a couple but this is by far the best! Used to play all the time mid 90s this was pretty dame cool! Decent acting in the many cinematics very good story for a game. Weapons for those able to make it pretty far are diverse. Aiming was never a problem for me "was pretty bad on playstation" This game needs an fps reboot but still tons of fun!

Wasteland 2 Director's Cut Digital Deluxe Edition

longg waitt...

I've put thousands of hours into the wastleand/fallout universe. I still love the first wasteland best of all. Fallout is next then 2 this game is last of pc games and only narrowly beats the awful console shooters. The "directors cut" is a rebalancing and addon update..bugfix.... The fun factor and playability are ok but replay and depth are very low. The sad fact is that now I gotta fire up dosbox to get my fix. ps.. I wonder if Bethesda remembered to take the dragons out of fallout 4...

Return to Castle Wolfenstein

some fun some not

I remember when I got this playing it wanting to kill the dev team more than nazis! For it's time a pretty game good idea, absolutely nothing like or to do with real run and gun games. There are 3 or for levels that drove me insane at how linear and stupid they were. Anyone who says this game has good level design either didn't make it very far or cheated a lot. Has little replay value as it is not about fun but truncated gameplay and a lot of development went into multiplayer.

Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold

Classic but only just..

Lots of fun is how I'd describe this game. oddly every time I go back to play it the files either got corrupted or I got tired of the level design. After an hour or so or a few as a younger man the so so maps got old.. And very annoyingly certain files get corrupted in "All" Apogee classics that make them stop working. This title is the most problematic the problem stems from an old anti piracy system "they would have called it theft" back then :) or unauthorized distribution. I hope gog has found a way to eliminate the fileid.diz glitch..

STAR WARS™ Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II

1997 oh yeah i was playing quake 2 :>

SWJK or Jedi Knight is a mediocre fps/third person star wars romp. As is always the case lucasarts puts a decent game in an obsolete clunky engine. Pros are somehow this relic still works, with minimal effort. Also pretty good replay value ai was ok for the time. Cons controls are very weird, sabre battles are unbalanced. Graphics and animations are awful even were pretty bad then. If you liked dark forces you will probably like this. Hahaha someone said best fps game.. well thats kinda cute. This is an odd game that may be for you but rates a c+ at best. Doom is the best fps game.

System Shock® 2 (1999)

Absolutely amazing

I played this for years even got a few small mods. Saw GOG had it and had to have it again. All those years it is still hours of endless terrific and totally unpredictable. Choose class and multiclass at will gear is upgradeable and always needing to be watched. This game play is only limited by tech so kids may not find as entertaining with limited graphics.
