Thunderscape

Grandfather of all the greats

This game is a masterpiece. A lot of people on here are griping about the graphics and sound It's a DOS game from 95. It's not a modern AAA title. What're you expecting? Plus if you think the sound sucks you clearly have an lousy opinion- and it's soundtrack is particularly amazing- fitting it almost perfectly. I personally love the dark and terrifying atmosphere. It matches the games story. You're in a cave, or sewers or catacombs and dungeon jails. It's going to be dark. The Character customization is immense! You can make literally whatever you want. The games very unforgiving if you don't know what you're doing- at least until the gong. If you abuse that....lol I have thousands of hours into this game. It was the family game back in the day and I will likely have bring my kids into it. If you want an easy dungeon crawler with good graphics go play Diablo- (another fantastic game) But if you want an unforgiving game with an amazing soundtrack and nearly unlimited customizability that will consume days at a time? Thunderscape is your game. Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind, Diablo, Darkest Dungeon and many other great games owe their existence to games like this, and Daggerfall. Worth EVERY penny, including the guide book that currently at its cheapest is $50-80 (it's that hard sometimes lol)
