Soulbringer is one of the best cRPGs I've ever played. It's got an original setting, a really well-told story, great atmosphere, and a huge amount of stuff to do. I absolutely adore it. However, unlike a lot of modern games, Soulbringer requires some dedication. It's not an easy game, and it dares to take its time with the plot - when I first played it years ago, I thought I'd reached the end when I realized the story was only just beginning. A lot of games use the word "epic" in their advertising, but Soulbringer is one of the few games that is an actual epic, that gives you the feeling of having been part of a great mythic struggle. You'll almost certainly feel frustrated by it at some point, but if you don't give up on it, it will deliver a magnificent experience.
