First of all: I love the game. Played a lot and will play a lot more in the future. I enjoy the setting, the story, the characters, the quests. And I definetely recommend the game to anyone with a decent PC. If you like the setting and enjoy other stories from the Cyberpunk-Genre, this is just for you. However, the game is still flawed. The performance is extremly inconsistent and seems to change with every patch. Sometimes, areas I visit are suddenly causing extreme FPS drops while they might be fine during the next visit. I even lowered my settings from high to medium/low and for some extremly weird reason, it made things even worse. So i stayed with High/Ultra so that I can enjoy the wonderful graphics of this game with some occasional FPS drops. The game mechanics feel shallow. I had the same problem with the Witcher 3. At some point, your character is extremly strong and all further character development feels like cosmetics. I am playing as a Solo on Hard and I slaughter everyone easily, additional perks do not feel like they make my character any better. This needs more balance and depth. Nonetheless, the game delivers amazing stories and decent gameplay. I have a lot of fun with blades and shotguns, despite the low difficulty and the quests really shows where the strenghts of CD Project Red are located. I cannot count how many times I was carried away by a tiny side quest which devloped into a fully-flegded quest line. The world is not as interactive as many expected it to be, but I for my part enjoy it because it gives a great background to my activities. Yes, the NPCs do not have special routines and there are bugs, but for me, these aspects were always of minor impact. I do not need a sandbox where you can do absolutely everything, I prefer the world to be the background on a stage. Cyberpunk does a fantastic job at that. If you want a good, but flawed game with amazing setting and have a capable PC, go for it!
