Fallout: London

A German in London

Total Playtime 6 days 21 hours and 20 minutes. Fallout London is beyond a doubt one of the most impressive mods I have ever seen or played, a title which was previously reserved for Enderal, a total conversion mod for Skyrim. If I had to describe this game in one word it would probably be ambitious. The scope, quality and sheer eye for detail are beyond impressive with a completely new and unique map, original story and missions and new gameplay mechanics not found in the original game Fallout London does more than just take assets from Fallout 4 and cram them into a new framework. London feels very different from Boston. It is overall smaller but does a great job of portraying a city with a different character wherever you are from the green parks and forests to rubble strewn streets and an irradiated wasteland that makes the Glowing Sea look like a spa day this world oozes character and I enjoyed every minute of exploring it. I did have frequent crashes and bugs, some glitches and broken questlines but while as much is to be expected from a mod of a Bethesda game they were also way less severe than I ever would have feared. Performance was mostly good but I would chalk up a lot of hiccups to my hardware limitation. All in all Fallout London is a must play for any fan of the post apocalyptical nostalgia and irradiated adventure.
