Cyberpunk 2077

No game is perfect out of the gate

There was so much emotion invoked in me for this game. My 4 star somewhat has to do with the setting; it's been a favorite of mine for years. Bugs, and there are plenty, have only made me reload twice in 80 hours so while annoying to find, none seem game breaking. The one I did encounter was patched 2 days later. Gfx are amazing, the world was built/designed with a lot of love. Main story missions are really well put together and most of the side missions are good though the sheer amount is maybe a little much, however since we aren't dealing with a world as large as Witcher 3, they had to cram a lot more in. Physics however, as seen in many a meme are pretty trash and I do hope they can patch some of this, however I feel like this is an issue with the engine or would take a heck of a lot of man-hours. So far I've only played the netrunner/katana build and it's been quite good with the exception of the prologue. It was difficult on normal difficulty to make it through the Height mission trying to rely on hacking when you get into combat which stops your cyberdeck from recharging. Having to rely on my very poor gun skills and not having the health to really go up close for melee and not really doing much side missions in the beginning because it doesn't "feel" right to play around when the story is wanting you to move through it that early means you are low level and trash at fighting if you choose this route. Once you are out of the prologue things improve immensely though and you can begin to use stealth/hacking to your advantage. Areas I wish were more fleshed out are around romances. Once you complete a romance(with the exception of one), it's essentially over. No real returning to that character until the finale and even then they seem like an aside, which is too bad because the attachment is there during their relationship building, then...it just drops off a cliff. One character wouldn't feel that way, but there's no real revisiting your love
