Beyond Good & Evil™

Journalistic digging goes beyond

A game where your job is to expose what is going in this part of the world as a photographic journalist with a bit of a violent twist to it. A story that is interesting and makes you want to keep going to find out whats going on. The characters in the game are very well done and they all have their own personalities. The part that can annoy you sometimes is the view you see things at as it can move weirdly sometimes. You can find good information for fixes for the game in the forums with widescreen and so on. I for sure recommend the game and had blast playing it.

Oxenfree

A lovely story but ...

The story in the game is great. I just felt like th choices at times where to quick to come up and if you clicked on something while somebody talked you kind interrupted the whole conversation at times so sometimes best to let them finish talking unless it comes to you making a choice then make it quick as you do not have long to pick one. Using the radio to tune into things was different and wasn't a bad thing. There are many choices that will effect the outcome of it all. The story with whats going on can be somewhat hard to get a grip about at the start but will clear up the further you get into it. For me it was a game to play through once and it was a nice experience but nothing that made me feel like I have to play it again.

Little Nightmares - The Hideaway DLC

Nomes, Nomes and even more Nomes.

I did say Nomes right? You will encounter a lot of them which is a good thing! This DLC is the continuing story from The Depths DLC in the Maw and you will enter the area where the Nomes are hiding out. It is more of solving different puzzles in different ways and being sneaky to get to the end of this story. If you did enjoy The Depths DLC you will enjoy this one even more. It is almost twice the length of The Depths DLC (at least when I compare my times).

Little Nightmares - The Depths DLC

More of the same

It is pretty much more of the same gameplay just with a different character in this horrific tragic place. If you did like the main game you will get more puzzles, run away moments and sneaking. It is very short.

INSIDE

A great and short gem of a game

A game that has a lot of details in the background if you look and pay attention to things. The puzzles to solve are well thought out. It is a short game and when you finish you wish there was more. The sounds are perfect in the game. Subtle but very fitting for the situations happening. There isn't much to say but I did enjoy it a lot.

Little Nightmares

In a disturbing world we try and survive

Playing this game just be prepared for some disturbing things. The creatures are nicely done. The character you are playing progresses in a way in the game which you will experience the further into the game you get. The controls can at times be a bit annoying as you do have to make sure you do line up the jumps correctly and get up on things and so on. That and in the beginning the tutorial for the controls took time to show up. It is a short game. Thats the only things that was "negative" but nothing that really took away from the gaming experience in my opinion.. The graphics are very good for the areas and the creatures you encounter. It has very nice sound effects and the music were top notch. I for sure recommend you try it out if you would like a bit of dark and disturbing world to explore.

Hob

A wonderful adventuring puzzle game

After having finished the game I can just say what a wonderful adventure. The game had a rough start with some crashes but it was quickly handled by Runic games. The world you run around in is amazing looking. Solving puzzles to unlock more of the world that is hidden. The fighting in the game is fun and I like how some enemies are also a bit puzzeling in the beginning until you learn how to deal with them of course. There is so much I want to type but I don't want to spoil it for you when you discover the small wonderful things in the world. Many things are "hidden" so explore everywhere! There are a lot of puzzles in the game so get your thinking hat on and especially time your jumps correct. There is a lot of things to collect in the game if you are one of those who likes unlocking everything. Some bugs exists in the game with at times getting stuck in the environment but if you don't get free kills you. Happened very few times so nothing that impacted the enjoyment of playing the game. I used a controller when I played the game as I tried mouse/keyboard and it didn't feel good. I do for sure recommend the game.

LIMBO

A fun and a tragical game

This game is in a dark world and you will see som dark moments in the game. You don't have much control of what you can do. It is very limited but you don't need more. You will meet situations where you have to solve the problem to get further or in some cases you will die if you are to slow. The thing I think is faulty with this game is at some times you pretty much have to die to be able to see the solution to a problem. Some problems can be pretty far fetched but you have to be prepared for some headscratching playing this game(Just dont get bald unless you already are then you are safe as you already lost it all!). I did enjoy it all otherwise except the point I made earlier. I do recommend it to people who do not mind dying a lot and solve puzzles.

Dust: An Elysian Tail

Dust a wonderful gem

This game is a wonderful game with a few flaws(which is just my personal feelings about certain things in the game) hence why I am not giving it 5 stars thou it is close to it. It has a great story that makes you interested in the world and the different characters you meet during your adventures. The soundtrack fits it all great and I did enjoy listening to it. There are tricks to things that you learn during the way about fighting and how to solve certain obstacles. You can also craft items in the game which is a nice touch so do not have to rely on items to drop. There is a lot to do if you want to do a 100% run. I for sure do recommend this for anybody who wants a nice game to play.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Blood and Wine

A beautiful DLC delivering more goodness

This DLC is a beautiful experience. The environment is amazing in this game. You will find some quest that has some amazing humor. Do not expect there to be much new in the game thou that will change it much. Sure more armor, weapons, more talents and a gwent card set, but not that you really need them to play through the game and enjoy it. I went into this DLC at lvl 36 and you actually do not need to change any of your gear to finish the game (At level 52) thou I did switch weapons at one stage. That was a little bit of a letdown for me at least. Thou that is what NG+ is for. It is like with the previous DLCs and main games it's the story, environment and characters that makes me enjoying the Witcher games. Combat is a bonus.
