I really enjoyed the art style of the game, very beautiful. The platforming and the puzzles were great. Thou the story wasn't something that took a grip on me. Don't know if it was how it was visually explained or what but I found something lacking there to make me feel anything specific. Music is very good in the game. I recommend this game if you do enjoy very beautiful art style games with platforming and with puzzles and great music. When it comes down to the story it all comes down to how you interpret the visual story.
The game has great voice-over, art style, music and combat. There is many different combinations you can come up with in the combat which is very nice. Thou the combat can feel like they want you to be punished at times and loose your most highly cost ability which can make the combat really frustrating depending on how you built your skills. The thing I mean with my interruption of both the story and the combat is how you learn more about the different characters that is involved in the story. They come from the skills and depending on how you use them you learn more about the story. This can become annoying as you have to use them in different ways to learn everything about them all. This is what interrupts the flow of the story and the combat. I wish they would have done this differently.
A very well told story and I like how you got to experience the different characters. There is a lot of details to look at when wander around which is very well done. The atmosphere where it all is played out is very fitting and good. It is a very a short game and I got it on a sale and found it to be worth it.
I enjoyed the game with its story and then how it progressed to the communication between the main characters in the game. I enjoyed the interaction between the characters. It is a nice looking game. You mostly walk/run to investigate things. I will say do explore and find more information. Read everything as it will also give you more information about the area you are in. The game is short but to me it was a fitting length except there should be more at the end. That ending was not satisfying at all which made an otherwise great experience go sour. Made me think of Deus Ex: The Fall. I did enjoy the game until that point.
After having played through the game I just felt something was missing. The story was good but also at times you get so sidetracked with things you almost loose sight of the main story until you come back to it again. I did enjoy the way you have the story told from 2 different characters. The puzzles went from easy to harder as you progressed through the game which was nice. Graphically it is a nice well done game with the style they went with. It has some interesting characters but for me most were forgettable and some annoying. For me something was missing to make me really enjoy the game. Don't know if it was how the characters were and the story told or what but I just couldn't really get into it but played through it all to get a complete picture of the game so to say.
Must say the game is really beautiful with its artistic style they have gone with. The story I find to be interesting and well done. It gives you a story about you in the game but also about norse lore. The levels are different but this is also where it lacks a bit. The running back the same way during some levels feels a bit boring. Wish they could have put some more of a shortcut there. I enjoyed the boss fights. Some easy and some more difficult. It took me 5 hours to play through it so it is a short game. Just don't expect a very difficult game as it is much an atmospheric game and enjoy the beautiful hand-drawn world.
A nice little puzzle with platforming elements game. It has a nice story to go with it as you progress further. The game has some great graphics fitting the different areas you will visit. Nice music and sounds. If you enjoy a small challenge finding everything and solving puzzles while enjoying wonderful areas I can strongly recommend the game.
The game has a really well written story that actually makes you think about choices that has been made and you make. The different characters are very well done. The music in the game is so good and fits very well for the different situations. Explore and get rewarded by more knowledge about characters and the situation. The atmosphere in the game is very fitting. I would suggest you give it a try and be ready to get your mind blown.
It is a well made game that had a great story with many intertwining stories that tied to the main story. You will meet many different interesting characters. It is one of those games that rewards you for going exploring everywhere. Game looks beautiful. You got plenty of different tools to use for different situations. I almost got the same feeling as when playing the old Thief games. Was a good feeling.
Visually as good as before with weird and creepy things all over the place and fitting music but it falls short with giving you the feeling of being in any danger even with the illusions. It felt like there was just a few easy puzzles to make progress around one area, then run and then a very short nome time. Story wise you will understand things more after having come to the end thou. That is how I felt at least. The length was about as previous DLC the Hideaway for me.
