I keep seeing bad reviews of the controls and was a little scared but as soon as I started the game and was playing the Hoath Level. All the controls work and mapped out nicely but the only problem is the frame rate it’s a bit too fast. I only remembered the N64 game being a slower frame rate. I feel like I’m playing this in fast mode but it’s great Nostalgia and full cut scenes but the presentation needs a little bit of work. For 1 dollar this game is worth it.
I use to have this game on Playstation and played it multiple times, then a friend from highschool sold me his copy of MDK for PC which I still have but cant run on any modern PC then later bought it on Steam but then it was glitchy and unplayable on modern PC so finally i bought it on GOG and it works perfectly fine. No tricks of making it run on a fake video card from 3DFX just instals and it plays. Thanks GOG for living my childhood games and Theres still Giants Citizen of Kabuto which I have a physical copy but I am going to rebuy it on GOG so it can be working perfectly like this game.
my only gripe is when I pause or go in certain places it will freeze a bit for a half a second or to 2 seconds but other then that on high with custom setting the game runs flawlessly, glad I bought it at GOG.com which it was DRM free 3 days ago
