Undertale

Not bad but not fun

I played this game for two hours before being bored enough to uninstall it. Not bad but not fun.

Stardew Valley

Very good "old fashioned" pixel art game

This game is made with love and dedication. Very few bugs, some controls not working perfectly, and the monster hunt is very basic but except those little problems the game is working fine. To know it is almost all created by only one person is stunning. If you want to try a game with love and dedication and if you don't dislike pixel art, go to Stardew Valley like many people did already.

Dragon Age™: Origins - Ultimate Edition

Very good

Very good "old" rpg game

Thimbleweed Park

How old

This is surely the most disturbing gaming experience I've had in a decade. The game is not bugged, the game is not bad, the game is just too old ! At the beginning I was excited playing an old style game recently developed, but wow... this is boring, frustrating and not fun ! And the most disturbing is that... it is exactly what these kind of games were decades ago, so I can't complain about the game itself. The only thing I can complain is that it is not the kind of fun I find in recent games and clearly... this game style is not fun anymore to me. It is linear as it was decades ago, I can stay during several days on the same problem to solve if I'm not using the phone to get hints (thanks for this option, I used it more than I can count) and while back in the days we had much less games to play to and it was much more difficult to get one, why would anyone play this kind of games today while you can instantly have much more fun playing to a free-to-play game ? This is old, too old. But the game is not bad, not bugged, and it is clearly the kind of games we had during the early 90's. So I can't put less than 3 stars but neither can I put more.

BioShock Infinite Complete Edition

A bit deceived but Burial at sea chapter 2 managed to get me entertained

Working correctly on my computer, 0 crash, very few bugs, very few glitches. I finished Bioshock 1 and 2 some years ago. This Bioshock Infinite is interesting but 10 hours less wouldn't change the game, I was really bored at half game, and annoyed at 5th time Liz was abducted... This was clearly written by people not knowing much about writing an interesting story, and battles are chaotic : smoke, lights, enemies and so on everywhere... It didn't feel like playing Bioshock during main game, and clearly this was made to be played with a controller. The complexity of the story and the lack of clear explanation is just "WTF !" Then I played Burial at sea chapter 1 and 2 and I have to say things finally made sense, and it got me entertained enough to say this game is not bad, it is a good game which could be much better. I won't play it twice like I did with Bioshock 1 and 2, but maybe in a few months I will play Burial at sea chapter 2 once again to change my choices and see what happens, playing to this peculiar DLC is what I call playing to Bioshock.

Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition

Working and enjoyable

While not recent, the game is still enjoyable and working correctly on my computer, it's not a recent computer, it may explain why the game is working on my computer and not on recent computers, I suggest people having crashes to try to install old windows 7/8 and/or latest versions of Direct X 9, 10 and 11 to play it. Fallout New Vegas and its DLCs were very enjoyable, I'm looking to find out if this Fallout 3 and its DLCs are as enjoyable as New Vegas. Thanks to GOG.

Dead Space (2008)

Jumpscares and corridors

Some nice ideas and the automatic saving helped me avoiding a lot of time loss, but to me it's clearly a parody, this game managed to get me entertain for 6 hours, bore me the next 6 hours, and finally stayed on my computer for 24 hours, as I had 12 hours doing anything else than playing this game. Some nice ideas, like interesting HUD, and some other features I won't spoil for you, but clearly not a fun game for me. Jumpscares, corridors and scripts will be the only things you see in it, the graphics are not bad but not good, the story is written by a lazy person, and shooting monsters is more enjoyable in a lot of other games. It barely reaches 11/20 on my list.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

Good enough

Not the best FPS on PC but it has its own qualities, thanks to the first 2 S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s before this one, they managed to improve their work. Still some issues like random crashes and bugs but the community of modders managed to get rid of most of them. The Zone is still deadly, still fascinating.
