Dino crisis 2 is the clock tower 3 to haunting grounds of this series, the best of it all. from start to finish i had way more fun than expected and the point system rewarded me for the minimal grind. with almost all the weapons bought and little to no puzzles to elongate my playtime this is the action adventure game of the 2000's
playing this in 2025, I never grew up with this game so i don't have the rose tinted glasses. but getting from what i can figure from guides, its a game that doesn't know if it wants to be resident evil or its own thing. reminds me a lot of haunting grounds and how it was just a stripped down version of the original blueprint. ie clock tower 3 used its mechanics great and haunting ground took mechanics away and called it difficulty. dino crisis 2 does essentially the same thing you pick up an key item and if you don't remember where its meant to be used, good luck. just have a guide open when you play this game if you're a first timer, you'll thank me later
