Star Trucker

Needs some TLC

Desperately need more keyboard configuration options. EG: to match truck controls with spacewalk controls, etc. Can I honk the horn too? The options seem very sparse. Would be nice to have a click-activated mouse directional control during flight. Constant keyboard adjustments are uncomfortable & stressful. Similarly, an option to click-lock-view within cockpit to synch truck & view directions to ease the flight experience. Desperately need better view distance options with more optimisation; EG: with lowered resolution & max view distance, there's still noticeable frame drops on rtx3060, & I can only see (fairly close) waypoints by moving my view to the edge of the screen so the text for that waypoint shows up. More waypoint markers & text would help navigation within a system; EG: entry to express ways so I don't have to fly to it before I realize it's not where I want to go. Auto-pack shop supplies from airlock would be amazing since it takes so long to pick & pack each item one by one, it's a real drag. Collision avoidance system would be amazing since I can still hit anything when it looks like I'm well clear of it from the cockpit view. Music is awesome. It's a pretty game. I really hope the game gets some more TLC from devs to really make it shine in it's genre. Until then, I can only recommend to hardened truckies & flight simmers who can handle multiple & odd controls & dynamics.

SPORE™ Collection

Spore Collection - fails pc migration

Fantastic game. Unfortunately it (GOG?) fails to allow migration to a new pc. Since it's a game that relies on *COUNTLESS* hours of progression on a single system/pc, one must be prepared to replay the game from scratch, every single time it's restarted on a new pc system - you're history is gone & pointless - counter to the nature of the games purpose. The save options are only valid if one chooses to stay on the same pc that one has spent years establishing ones progression. Otherwise all is lost at every turn of any system-rebebuild. Despite the temporary space-age establishment of this game, I would love to give this 5 stars, but the continuity issues are a complete drawback when one is forced back to the start upon any system upgrades. What a shame... Continuity does not exist with this game even though it states its purpose as such (eg: evolution).
