I've been in to Shadowrun since the 1994 Sega Genesis release, and have played every Shadowrun video game since then with the exception of Microsoft's odd 2007 attempt at a non-rpg first person shooter under the property name. Whether or not you're familiar with the Shadowrun games, if you like detective noir or cyberpunk as far as genres go, this game is a solid buy. If you enjoy RPG's with rich and immersive settings and well written plots, or interesting dialogue that's entertaining to read, mature and gritty, this is a good game for you. If you're excited for Cyberpunk 2077, but don't have the budget for AAA new releases this game will be excellent bang for the buck.
