I never wanted to be a pirate as a kid! I don't like pirate movies (except Pirates of the Caribbean), games etc., but when I stumbled upon Monkey Island I fought: let's give it a go! I'm not sure whether Curse of Monkey Island or this episode I played first. In my opinion the first episode along with third the best Monkey Island adventures. Back to Secret of Monkey Island: Melée Island with Scumm Bar is gorgeous! Guybrush keeps his silly optimizm even at the worst situations. Not to forget about LeChuck... the baaad guy. To me he's like Kevin McCallister left unattended from his parents, with some of his evil plan. I am sure you'll never forget Stan's merchandise, Meathook vicious Beast, the shopkeeper on Melée, or the verbal fighting! Voice acting is up to most animated films. Dominic Armato get a hang of his character completely and others as well. Soundtrack say memorable fit into the game. Has anyone found out what the secret of Monkey Island?

Well it's hard to wrote a review to this. The reason I am saying this is 'cause there are several ways to approach Atlantis the game. One's you are a nerd want to find something, a flaw e.g. in historical background, and want to complain because you can die. The other way is to realize Cryo Interactive's games more than that, they want to feel and understand those people back then were like us, they were greedy, hungry for power and knowledge, and they were loving. So if you understand these, you'll see the motivation behind it. If you ever played a Cryo game you know you only can understand the whole stuff if you dig yourself into the subject (I did with Atlantis 2) just to see there's no bull, almost everything is based on something, which makes it much more interesting. But the biggest mysterie to me how would they able to create such great graphic in '97? You'll die in the game a lot but I felt that is necessary most places to feel more palpably the tension. Pierre Estéve made a beautiful musical score (with Stéphane Picq) in every location, any situation fitted perfectly. I'm much concerned as Morpheus in Matrix that Atlantis existed (maybe still) so to me it was really interesting. It is really a masterpiece.

Our protagonist Mina isn't particulary interesting: stranded on an unhabited island and her only company is a monkey. Also if you aware the adventures Kheops makes you'd know this is an intellectual game based on historical facts as far as I know. So your parents should happy if you're a teenager or younger! About gameplay there are more than one solution to make progress, also there are many object you can combine. Setting is not a big deal in my opinion, animations comic book stylish! This solitary adventure offers a few hours exploring this island. To me wasN't an unforgettable experience but you should take a chance !

I bought this game about six years ago, it's a localized copy came with mistranslating and several crush at certain points, but these "extras" did not effect my review of the game. First thing first, I done a walked through of Road Adventure so I was well aware of the game mechanizm such as searchin' a spot 100 times, pixel hunting, and other inconsistencies, though those are not really changed, I'm not about to complain - but keep in mind. Our fresh millionaire couple in trouble again Gina is went missing on a tropical island, our primery goal to find and rescue her. Of course we have many difficulties, one of is our old crazy vacuum cleaner headed friend Joshua with his 4 number intelligence. Sometimes I felt very nervous because the way of certain solution workin'. One is this: you can keep a huge firewood, a chainsaw etc. in your pocket, but later you gonna receive two bottles of wine and in order to advance forward you have to put them down but you wont get even a slightest hint to do that. Summarization: + some cool setting as Junge, Tropical Island, Alaska, Pirate ship - ... except Shusi's ship + references to Monkey Island + Lokelani - lenghty and boring cutscenes at the end - ends on a cliffhanger
Well, even this game may not the best daedalic adventure, still carry a serious matter concerning our planet's future. Approx. seven billion people living, we're all seeing the all signs of warning of nature but no one care about it. However there's a man aware of the issue, but without any help decide to do nothing. His name Bent Svensson the one who responsible for apocalipse, even if his intensions are the opposite.

But that doesn"t mean bad. Far from it. Maybe it just my miserable life but it has brought me literally hundreds of pleasant hours, I can't wait to play. Playing Baldurs Gate 2 means playin' hard, having lot of funny moment and sad, making hard decisions, and above all fallin love with this world. I have a great love in medieval, fantasy worlds (Kings' Quest ?). I am still remember some odd event has occured during gameplay. Jawdropping MAXimum.
