I came into this with somewhat low expections after playing other hugely ambitions mods which didn't live up top expectations. I'm very pleasantly surprised with the game, most of is really high quality and feels like an official game. I'm loving all the new items in the game like apparel, weapons, food and even the details done to the junk you find. There's also some cool new collectables like Vinyls that you can play at turntables. Quests are decent, there are some bugs with them but they also have some nice set piece moments and really memorable quests which really elevates it to the next level. But the main drive is the locations and exploration. I could have a lot of fun even if there weren't any real quests just by the fact that there's a whole new world to explore with loads of iconic locations. It would be disingenious to not mention bugs, crashes and performance. Crashes were common for me before getting Buffout 4 and following a tutorial and performance was subpar. However after some tweaking it's been running for hours without issues. There's at least one quest bug I've found and a few smaller one but nothing game breaking.
