For every thing you find you really love about this game there will be 10 other things you hate,avoid. i can't tell if the developers were incompetent,spiteful or stupid but playing this game is like fighting the mechanics every step of the way.
(This little review is about Dracula 3, it's the one that sounded most interesting to me because apparently it's not connected to the other 2,and I've only played 30 minutes so keep that in mind) THIS GAME IS GORGEOUS I mean crikey this game is REALLY pretty, it's not often that i'm so impressed by graphics but something about this game is captivating, just what's needed for a game about vampires. However this game has an annoying glitch where your mouse cursor disappears which is obviously not ideal for a point and click game, to solve this you must right click on your vampire 3 shortcut, go to properites and make sure the game runs in maximised window, that will solve your problem, it's a great game upto now so i'm giving it 5 (let's hope it stays great all the way through)
I can't complain too much about this game especially seeing as i never would have played if it wasn't for gog (and very cheap) But i really just can't enjoy this game,it's poorly made and feels like it wasn't playtested. The first few levels do let you use (some) tactics) but after that you might as well just take in heavies with the best weapons you can find because the levels are so badly designed that trying to use tactics will get you killed (over and over) The random encounters are rubbish as well,they have no thought put into them and the skills that your characters can use are nigh on useless except for traps (oh there's traps everywhere and even at 100% skill you'll probably die 50 times) and healing (which can actively hurt you if you don't have a high enough skill?!) enemies shooting you through walls,cheap deaths,boring missions. no thanks.
