10$ for pixel references? Anyone?

It's an okay time management game with a lot of old call backs to classic macho movies and general 70's to 90's references. The game is fun, in the start, where you balance a personal life, while trying to get ahead in the games different leagues and stories. However it totally looses all of this charm and activity, in the later half. When you leave this starting city and have to just grind, grind, grind. You are essentially locked in a gym forever, with food and the same opponent that you have to grind against until you win it. This part of the game is such bull crap that I really wonder why the heck they added it. Maybe to get a handful of extra references into the game? I would have much preferred if I had some choice in when this suck fest part of the game started, or that I could somehow leave it, I don't care. It essentially feels like the game is over now because I can't the assed to play it for days just doing the same grind with no real way to play the games advantages to somehow speed up the process. So in short, watch the game on youtube, avoid otherwise. If it's 3$ on sale, the first half of the game is okay to get through, and in case you read this before getting to this other stage of the game. Just don't talk to the Don after getting your pro card. That triggers the advancement to the next stage, Make sure you have used up all your money, done all the possible quests and gotten so incredibly sick of the starting city that you want to downgrade to a shittier version of the game to try and finish it.
