Modding makes it THE banter simulator

Even though I have both Fallout 1&2, Planescape, the Witcher and various other RPGs, BGII is the one which I have played the most. I must have played this game at least a dozen times beginning to the end. That's more than 100 hours per run. What made me come back so often was the varied world, the wonderfull (random) encounters and fan made mods. Just to name a few: - The Wesley Weimer's various mods such as Solaufein, Valen, Ascension, Tactics for a challenge and Item upgrade. http://www.weidu.org/main.html - Amber NPC, one of the most intriguing npc's and romances ever. SoA only unfortunately, I am still waiting for the ToB update to run this game again. I just want her to be there with me. :'( http://koti.welho.com/vmarttil/amber/ - The Kelsey NPC, Keto NPC, Banter packs, the indispensable Dungeon-Be-Gone which makes the first part of the game less annoying after countless playthroughs and many others! http://www.pocketplane.net/mambo/ - More mods at http://forums.spellholdstudios.net/ - A few fixes on http://www.gibberlings3.net/ - And a few smaller ones at http://forums.chosenofmystra.net Install a few of these mods (all weidu and most of the pocketplane and spellhold are compatible without problems, but you do have to install them in a certain order. Do it right and the game isn't about getting to the end, but enjoying every banter of your NPCs, with you or eachtother, the random encounters and the stories the people tell.
