GOG staff comment: The 1994 DOS CD version is now included as of 28.04.2015. There are conflicting accounts in the reviews on whether the Collector's CD-ROM version (1994) is included. I was even more uncertain since the product description explicitly states it includes "X-Wing Collector's CD-ROM... 1994". Well, I took a $10 shot and verified it: it does NOT include the 1994 version as advertised. Only the 1993 original and the 1998 remake. What a buzzkill! I'm sure the 1998 version is ok, but it doesn't have iMUSE and forces you to use a joystick, whereas with 1993 you lose the graphics advantages that came with the Collector's CD-ROM. Call me Goldilocks but you could have nailed it by including the 1994 version. I mean, you bought the rights, right GOG? So why not include that version as well? Gotta say I am also a bit disappointed at the false advertising... I'm staring right at the section that says "1994." Considering attempting to get a refund but I'm not sure it's worth the effort for $10. Was also gonna buy TIE Fighter, but looks like it's the same problem over there (no Collector's version).

I was almost fooled into buying this title, but after reading some comments saw that it doesn't include the Collector's CD-ROM version (1995)! Having played that version back in the day, there's really no substitute. These other versions? I mean, I appreciate the effort and all... but what's the point without the enhancements/extra missions that the Collector's edition provides? Add the Collector's CD-ROM version (1995) and you have my money in a heartbeat.
