Great classic for those that want a tactical game. Playing bring back memories getting a squad wiped out when playing the first time it came out. So nostalgia value. As for the game itself beginners would be best with Germans, as the MG42, Stormtrooper units, and panzerfaust with units gives a jack of all trades with anti tank and anti infantry. Allies are a little harder as armor must be played careful for the above reasons.
Great game and a classic, but the change in Battle Maker from single individual squads and tanks to unit size is why I rated the game so low.
