fabuła, klimat naprawdę świetne, dobrze odwzorowywują czasy Ameryki lat 50. Grafika jest okej. Jednak gameplay jest okropny, jeżdżenie autami (którymi się koszmarnie jeździ) co chwila na drugi koniec miasta, strzelanie w każdej misji które ani przez chwile nie jest ciekawe oraz irytujący system auto zapisów który w praktyce cofa na początek każdego starcia więc równie dobrze mógłby nie istnieć, a irytacje faktem beznadziejnych autozapisów podnosi to, że nieustannie się w tej grze ginie, od praktycznie każdego strzału. Policja - niby realistycznie zaprojektowana, jednak po pierwszym zachwycie jest na maksa irytująca. Nie wspomne tu o bugach - powtarzające się wypowiedzi postaci, które psują dialogi, dziwne bugi graficzne np artefakty lub zapadające się włosy Vito czy też znikanie lamp tuż po ich przejechaniu. Szkoda, bo mimo iż fabuła jest ciekawa, to gameplay i ilość błędów czyni z tej gry co najwyżej średniaka.
Resident Evil 2 from 1998 is considered to be one of greathest survival horror games of all time. How is this game in 2024? Of course game looks really old, which make this game ugly for today players, but it still have some great gameplay features. Fixed camera makes this game feel different than modern RE games, but the best thing about this feature is that you don't know what will be around the corner, which makes you feel fear. Shooting zombies is easy in this game as you, just have to take aim and shoot. Locations are great, RPD here feels different than the one in remake, but game is a lot shorter than remake. It takes like 4-5 hours to beat it's one scenario. The game have more action than the first game which depends on player can be advantage or disadvantage. The technical side is okay, i didn't have expirenced any bugs. Game features its own new laucher in which you can select scenario etc. The price is fine in my opinion, GOG version is much cheaper solution than retail used versions selled by players. If you like classic re games you will not be dissapointed on classic Resident Evil 2. Honestly I can't wait for RE3 classic to be realised on GOG.
