There are few versions of Doom games sold here but this is the best one. This package has good collection of Doom games and the engine complements the originals quite well. This package comes also with the original wad files and game engine if you want to try the original DOS version or other Doom engine variants.
Puzzles 7BH are well made. Skill level increase is stable and extra levels are really challenging. There are enough but not much content. You can complete levels without solutions getting too complex. Code editing could have a bit improvemenet and I would have wish for functionality to copy parts of code. Eventually the editor doesn't get too frustrating. This game is clear improvement from HRM and is more closely a programming game. It offers challenge even for experienced programmer. This game left me wanting more and I will be looking forward to sequel.
There is no real exploration but you are locked to specific path with invisible walls and the story is generic Hollywood without any mystery or reason. After introduction you are spawn into a hostail environment. Combat is quite hard even with easiest difficulty. Weapons are complicated to use and it doesn't seem to be compensated in enemy design. Enemies respawn if you save and can not be skipped or ran away. The game runs well with ultra graphics with older computers and graphics are ok.
