I bought this game when it first came out on CD-ROM. I loved it then, and it is still a good game. The graphics are a bit dated and the game isn't lore accurate, but the concept is solid and provides a great Star Trek feel. The story is decent for the time as well. definitely try out if you like Start Trek and RTS games.
Great Game!! The ship building is simple(as in the parts are fixed in their size and shape), but where you put them and how is very important. The away team missions are kind of simple, but important to gathering resources and discovering new things, and dealing with hostile ships is challenging and rewarding. My only complaint is that there is no way to play with anyone. Great solo game though and a lot of fun. Definitely worth the buy!
