Unplayable tutorial = unplayable game

I really like the idea of the game but the controls are horrible. I started tutorial, because I have heard it is difficult to control. But it is also difficult to understand. The tutorial does not explain anything at all. It just says land on the planet. After few attempts to do so (I pressed every key on the keyboard) I noticed that I am supposed to land on different planet than the one where I started. By very weird control I managed to get into the orbit of the another planet, while crashing into it unintentionally. Finally button that allows me to Land appeared. The same repeats during the landing phase. Tutorial tip: Mine some metal. That is it. I spent 30 minutes splashing the module in the water or trying to approach a zone, but I never figured out how to actually mine. Apparently you have to be within three pixels in the mining zone, so it is possible that I never acheived that. Get Starcom: Nexus instead. The premise is similiar, but everything controls fine.

I am not a Monster: First Contact

Awesome 50's sci-fi game

The style is amazing. Menus, cut scenes, world, characters, sound, music, even the plot, everything is really showing love for 50's sci-fi B movies. The plot is one big nod to old movies. You will play as several groups of survivors on an infested luxurious space ship. Each chapter ends with multiple twists. Nobody is really what they seem, hell even the ship is not what it seemed either. Each character has a special trait, that might not seem important at first, but in the end the least useful ones will be the best. The game is hard. You cannot play it like normal TBS game. In each level are enough enemies to kill your party in a single round if you are not careful. It is in fact so hard that you will have to learn how to break it. You will have to use all the items and weapons and their special effects to exploit the game. Make yourself temporarily invincible! Shoot enemies behind walls! Build army of robotic spiders! Possess the enemies and make them attack each other! Swap your place with enemies to make them kill each other! Buff your healing to withstand multiple barrages from heavy machine gun! Sneak and attack or go completely invisible! The only downside is that sometimes the game tries to cheat too. Teleports enemies to your location (this happened just once afaik), sends more waves of enemies or put you on a time limit to increase the pressure... this usually results in restarting the whole mission and taking a little bit different aproach, to not get surprised again. Also the music as awesome as it is gets repetitive after few hours. There are ton of missions you have to complete. Money well spent.

easy puzzle game

It has a simple story, all characters are very nice to each other. Graphics and music is nice and everything relaxing. You will finish the game in around 6 hours. There are some secrets for achievment hunters. All puzzles have quite clear hints.

3 hours of slapstick humor

The game is kinda like silly subnautica in space, if subnautica was 3 hours long, without base building, vehicles, and any dangers except suffocating. It takes mostly 3 hours because you have to return every 30, 60 and 90 minutes for air to the shuttle.
