I do not like to write negative reviews but I probably should as I spent a considerable amount of time trying to understand what this game is about. The graphics looks nice and tidy - the screenshots do not lie. The gameplay is a bit oversimplified and not challenging. Your fox explores large locations hardly containing any points of interest. I guess it is ok for early access but insufficient for a done game. However, the main aspect of this game was supposed to be a story. And this is where a big problem lies. Adventures of the fox fail to connect to any deep and serious questions implied by the game. An entire playthrough does not give enough hints to make logical conclusions about what is going on, let alone to discover the original idea. The pseudo-philosophical narrative feels simply retarded. Although I presume that the author originally had a reasonable idea in mind, it was not reflected in the game. Apparently, even the developer himself saw that something is not right here and therefore added some audio comments about the development process, which are the most interesting thing in the game from my point of view.
The game looks nice and friendly. The soundtrack is well made and changes for different game scenes, creating a warm in-game atmosphere. I did not play this type of game before, so the puzzles are difficult from my point of view. I'm getting stuck over and over on normal level. I'm giving it 5 stars mainly because it made me laugh out loud in the starting scenes.
