Lots of reviews complain about bugs/outdated versions. Not true anymore; seems to be fully patched and working well. Haven't run in to any major bugs so far, played for about 4 hours. That being said, the gameplay is problematic. Parts of it I enjoy, parts of it are very frustrating. I feel like the game was designed around Consoles first and foremost, which bugs me the most in the equipment/maps/etc interface. Weapons only show a DPS rating, which is rather lame, as you don't see how much damage each shot does, nor your potential crit chance. The "skill tree" for each class is.... can I just say "bad"? You are VERY limited in your options to progress down the tree, often being forced to take useless skills (my sniper HAD to take assault rifles skills, even though he never uses them) Non-weapon equipment (armor/clothing) is very unintuitive- armor has a rating, but it doesn't say WHAT that rating actually does. It also has a "weight class?". I'm not sure what it does. Maybe slows the character down more with heavier classes. Headgear has weight classes too, not sure if it compounds or not. Several issues with units only hitting objects in front of them when they have 90% hit chance on a target. The lack of any kind of "stance" system means combat with human enemies (who used ranged weapons) can go very badly for any of your guys who use short range weapons (primarily shotguns)- it's very hard to get close without getting turned in to swiss cheese. Also cover seems way too effective- enemies behind cover often have only a 5-8% chance to be hit, even by a sniper rifle.
